In addition, he is a Board Member at Suez Canal for Technology Settling Co. & member of the Audit Committee.
Dr. Ahmed has a wide experience, his responsibilities as the Assistant Managing Director at The United Bank (August 2017- till now) are focused on managing & supervising the Capital Restructuring, Strategic Planning, R&D, the Technical Office and Investment Functions of the bank.
Previously, he was Senior General Manager of the Investment Divisions (June 2006 – August 2017) and General Manager of Financial Control Division (1997 – June 2006) supervising Finance, Budgeting and Investment department.
Before that, he joined Dallah Al Baraka Holding Bahrain Company as Group Finance Director (1990 – 1997). His main duties revolved around managing & controlling investment portfolio of the group all over the world and its consolidated financials. That was after his 7 years of experience (1984-1990) at Islamic International Bank for Investment and Development as Head of Planning – Financial Development.

M.B.A. in Financial Management - City University- Washington – USA 2000.
High Diploma in Accounting - Cairo University – Egypt 1987.

Before naming this position in 2017, Mr. Abousteit was appointed senior positions in International, Regional and Local Banks as he assumed the positions of Vice President and Country Operations Officer of Bank of America in Egypt, Director of Centralized Operations in American Express Bank, Egypt, The General Manager of United Bank of Egypt and Deputy Managing Director of Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Egypt (previously Piraeus Bank, Egypt). Also, Mr. Abousteit was appointed the Chief Operating officer of Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
Mr. Farag is currently Deputy Managing Director at The United Bank
Formerly, he was Vice-Chairman and Managing Director from 2011-2018.

She is also member of the Company’s Risk Committee, Board Credit Committee and the Governance Committee.
Ms. Ghada has had a notable career in the fields of audit, accounting and banking, having spent 23 years with KPMG, Banque Misr, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) where she held influential roles in different financial sectors.
In 2016, she joined United Bank as Deputy Credit Risk Officer (CRO) and is now Head of Investment & Technical Office.
Ms. Ghada graduated from Cairo University and had her MBA from Ain Shams University in Banking & Finance.
She is also a board member at Light House Education Company and the Supervisory Council in Avanz Manara for Private Equity.
She is also the Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee and member of the Risk and the Remuneration Committees.
Mrs. Suzan is a veteran banker with 40+ years of experience in leading financial institutions, namely: Bank of America, Cairo, American Express Bank, Cairo, Egyptian American Bank, Beltone Financial Services and National Bank of Kuwait, Cairo.
Throughout the course of her extended career, she gained extended experience in the fields of Central and Treasury Operations, Securities, Asset Management, Brokerage, Custody, Back Office, Trade Finance, Mutual Funds, Operations Procedures, Core System Migration, in addition to managing Central Units in prior roles such as IT, Information Security, Data Cleansing, Procedures Operations and ATM System Reconciliation.
Currently, Mr. Alaa is on the Board of United Finance Company and is Head of the Board Risk Committee and a member of The Senior Board Credit Committee.
Previously,
• Mr. Alaa held several key positions at National Bank of Kuwait, Egypt, where he served from October 2008 until October 2022, the latest of which was Senior General Manager, Chief Risk Officer, where he was responsible for the bank’s Risk Group.
• Immediately following that, he served as an Assistant General Manager at Bank AlJazira, Jeddah, KSA, from June 2003 until September 2008, where he established and headed the Credit Risk Management Division.
• From 1985 up until 2003, Mr. Alaa worked for a number of local and international institutions starring with Citibank Egypt, Credit Suisse Egypt, Egyptian American Bank, Sanwa Bank ltd, U.S.A., and H. C. Securities and Investment in Egypt.

His areas of significant expertise include: Telecommunications Engineering Networks, Computer Systems and Information Technology. At the beginning of 1994, he established the Misr Information and Trade Service Company (MISTT) which helped to connect and supply real- time trading info from the local stock exchange & International money and commodity markets to thousands of government & non-government clients. Mr. Omran was chosen by the Egyptian Prime Minister then to establish (ITIDA) at the smart village to help develop both the Telecommunications Sector & IT markets.
He is also a board member of the Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce, Egyptian Businessmen Association, Egyptian –French CAFÉ and the French (EXPLEO) Company.
